Toya Campbell (Head Coach) Toya started coaching a recreation team in Georgia then seeing a need for a more competitive cheer program she started the Victory All-Stars In Georgia, which went on to win 1st place. In 2007 she moved to Houston and was the cheer coordinator for the Youth Football League. Through all her efforts, Toya's primary goal is to help build the participants confidence and skills while preparing them to perform at the competitive and college levels and beyond. Rachel D.(Assistant Coach) WOW! Just about explains Coach Rachel’s enthusiasm, commitment and talent. Rachel comes to KCA with a long list of accomplishments, to name a few: 2008 National Champion Jumper, 2002 National High Point Individual National Crowd Pleaser Champion, Multiple team National Title, ASC All-Star, Recipient of the ASC Distinguished Leader Award and Hofstra University College National Champion Cheerleader. Along with her many titles she comes to KCA with many years of coaching experience: over 8 years to cheer and dance and over 3 years with American Cheer Power. Rachel is also a 3 time NCA All-American and received UCA All-Star. If all this was not enough Coach Rachel along with the rest of the KCA staff is a USASF Credentialed Coach. Mandy Burt Coach Mandy is currently a senior at Kingwood High School, captain of the Varsity KHS Cheerleading Squad, and recently invited by NCA to participate in their staff program. Not only does she bring her long time devotion, outstanding cheer and tumbling skills to the mat of KCA, she also strives to see that all the girls succeed not only at a competitive level but most importantly in the safety and proper technique needed to be an outstanding cheerleader and athlete. With over 5 years of competitive cheerleading,7 years of tumbling, and 7 years dance, Mandy will help KCA and our athletes become the best we can be. Brenda W. At the age of 16 Coach Brenda brings a love for cheerleading like no other, Since she was two years old she has amazed us with her outstanding dancing and cheer talent and enthusiasm for the sport. Following her passion for cheerleading she enrolled in “The Cheer Place” where she helped her team bring home a National Championship along with the title of All-American. Coach Brenda also is a USASF Credentialed Coach. Look for Coach Brenda’s outstanding tumbling technique on the mat. Brooke Lightfoot. Brooke began cheerleading at the age of 8 in, Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the little league football team. She then moved to Texas and at the age of 14 became a member of The Cheer Place. She participated on teams as well in classes. She cheered for school for the first time in 9th grade on the freshman squad at KHS which she was co-captain of, 10th grade on the Junior Varsity squad also on which she was the co-captain and 11th on the Varsity squad. By the age of seventeen she was offered a coaching position at The Cheer Place, where she taught Elementary Tumbling, Beginning Tumbling, Intermediate Tumbling, and Open Gym. Brooke's accomplishments include: two-time NCA All Star (three-time nominee), ASC All Star, and UCA All Star. Awards She also received "Best Cheerleader" on the Sr. Open Co-Ed team, and "Best Cheerleader in the Gym" |
